Cancellations

NEW CLIENTS

New clients are required to complete, and review with the technician, required paperwork prior to their procedure beginning. Any additional time spent will be deducted from the service duration as to not effect the appointment start times of other clients. Using the form templates located at melabeauty.ca/forms, you may complete these forms in advance.

PRE & AFTER CARE

Please visit melabeauty.com/aftercare to find pre & after care about your procedure. Proper pre & after care is essential. If pre-care instructions aren’t followed, then your appointment may need to be rescheduled for a later date.

DEPOSITS

Deposits are required for some services, such as Permanent Cosmetics, and all Mobile appointments. The deposit is non-refundable. If notice is given at least 24 hours prior to the time the appointment is to take place, the deposit can be applied to a later date. If the  24-hour prior notice period has passed, the deposit and service is considered forfeited and a new deposit will need to be made to reschedule a new appointment. Sorry for any convenience this may cause, but filling in appointment time slots last minute is very difficult.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please allow at least 24 hours notice for cancellations, as last-minute cancellations negatively effect the technician, as well as other clients. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact MelaBeauty using one of the following methods:

  • Email  service@melabeauty.ca

  • Call or text 226-268-6839

  • If your appointment was scheduled using the online booking service, and you provided your email address during  appointment confirmation, there will have been a cancellation link sent to you with the appointment confirmation email.

  • Lastly, if you have a customer account within the MelaBeauty booking system, you may log in using your username and password to access your account and reschedule or cancel your appointments.

 

LATE & NO-SHOW POLICY

NON-INVASIVE PROCEDURES: If you arrive after your scheduled appointment time, the time you missed will be deducted from your appointment duration. The technician will not work beyond your scheduled duration so as to not negatively affect other clients or the timely completion of other tasks. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment time, you will be considered a no-show, and your appointment will be cancelled. If you provided advance notice of your late arrival, and in the rare event that there are no appointments scheduled after your scheduled time, at the discretion of the technician, your service may still be accommodated MelaBeauty reserves the right to refuse service.

INVASIVE (PERMANENT MAKE-UP) PROCEDURES: 

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, and did not contact MelaBeauty beforehand, your deposit and if applicable, your Consultation credit, will be forfeited.  To reschedule, you will need to pay a new deposit.

 

Permanent make-up procedures cannot be rushed without compromising health and safety.  If you provided advance notice of your late arrival, and in the rare event that there are no appointments scheduled after your scheduled time, at the discretion of the technician, your procedure may still be accommodated. MelaBeauty reserves the right to refuse service.

 

CONDITIONS

These conditions are relevant to any invasive service in which blades or needles puncture the skin so that pigment can be deposited into the epidermis and/or dermis tissues.

In compliance with local health department regulations, and to protect the health and safety of client’s and staff, only the client and technician are allowed in the treatment area during the procedure. No Exceptions!
